friends, aiko&han took yu to explore "local gourmet" in neighbouring city of toyoashi. first stop was "phonon" cafe which ran by design company. smart minimum deco cafe serves light meal, sweets and coffee&tea. we ordered curry and croque monsieur. it came with small cheese cake as it was lunch time. not only deco but food was nice&simple. then we moved to next cafe for sweets. "sanai" on main street located near toyohashi cityhall. this cafe seems there for really long time. sanai specialized "pancakes" and has more than 20 styles of pancake&40 styles of coffee! yu&aiko ordered traditional "butter pancake" and han had "lemon pancake" that pancake floats in sweet lemon soup. both tasted amazing! then aiko&han ordered flavouring tea&coffee. but yu couldn't resist ordering another pan cake...so he had "mont-blanc chantilly" which pancake was beautifully decorated with chestnuts cream&ice cream. it was so yummy!! yu really enjoyed lovely local cafes&gourmet!
幼なじみ、愛子＆ハンはマスイを『ローカルグルメ』ツアーに連れ出した。行き先はお隣の街『豊橋』だ。１つ目のストップはカフ『ファノン』。ファノンはデザイン事務所が経営しているらしく、スマートでミニマムなデザインだ。メニューはお茶とコーヒーだけでなくこだわりのホットチョコレートやスイーツそしてクロックムッシュとサーモン＆クリームチーズサンドウィッチ、カレー３種類のフードをサーブする。以降はカレーとクロックムッシュをオーダーどちらも美味。ランチタイムなので小さなチーズケーキがコーヒーと共に出された。シンプルでかわいいデコだけでなくおいしいフードを楽しんだ一行は、次なる目的地へと向かった。２つ目は市役所近くの並木通りにある喫茶『三愛』だ。三愛は何年もその場所にあるらしくノスタルジックさを漂わせていた。そしてこちらホットケーキの専門店でもある。メニューには20種類以上のホットケーキと40種類近くのコーヒーがあった。愛子とマスイはトラディショナルな『バターホットケーキ』そしてハンは甘いレモンのスープにホットケーキが浮いている『レモンホットケーキ』をオーダー。ホットケーキは絵に描いたように美しい焼き上がり、そしてフワフワと軽く何枚でも食べれそう。お味は最高だ！愛子とハンはかおり豊かなコーヒーとティーを頼んでいたが、マスイにはまだまだ気になるホットケーキが。。。もちろん２皿目に突入！２品目は『モンブランチャンティイホットケーキ』。ホットケーキはフランス産のマロンペーストからつくったクリームとアイスで美しく飾り付けられた。本当においし〜い。さすがにホットケーキを４枚も食べると満腹。。。とにかくマスイはかわいくておいしいローカルカフェを満喫した！
